Recently, the chemical fertilizer division implements major repair and technical renovation, including 141 maintenance tasks in the instrument workshop. The workshop requires all teams and groups to follow the principle of “repairing should be compulsory, and repairing must be repaired well”.

In response to the problem of damage to the seat surface of the valve core and valve seat, the machine overtime monitor He Xiangying used superb turning skills to smooth the damaged surface with a lathe, and worked with Liu Meng and teacher Chen Xialin in turn to perform the seat joint Grind until the process requirements are met. He Xiangying said: "The steam vent valve is very expensive. It costs more than 30,000 yuan to replace the valve core and seat. If it can be repaired, we must find a way to repair it. For valves that cannot be repaired in the workshop, they use the method of outsourcing parts and components, saving the original factory the time and high cost of purchasing spare parts.

During the operation of a valve of a synthetic low-temperature methanol washing unit, valve position oscillation occurred many times, causing serious vibration of the unit's pipeline and threatening the safety of the device. The workshop organized technicians to find out the cause of the valve failure before the overhaul, independently drawn the mapping paper for the improvement of the valve trim, formulated the repair plan, and communicated with the outsourcing unit responsible for processing the parts for many times, and instructed the other party to make the transformation as required. After reinstalling, the hidden danger of vibration is eliminated.

For instrument equipment that was temporarily malfunctioning or needed urgent repair, the cadres of the instrument workshop worked together to repair the two instrument valves, 25 instrument cables, 70-meter instrument bridges, and several pressure guiding tubes and devices that were damaged in the crane's folding arm. When He Xiangying rushed to repair the instrument valve damaged by the lifting object, without spare parts, he worked overtime continuously to prepare the parts, which ensured that the device started up as planned.

At present, all valves and instrument equipment that have been put online after maintenance are in good operating condition.
